New skype software version ?- three uk

Not sure if you re aware of this...

While roaming in Italy and trying to access skype i got a message to update the software version on the N95, which I did.

Basically it now gives me the chat option, which I didn't have in the previous version...

I had this update pushed to me a while ago (although I was still in England at the time). Initially it caused some problems where it would not sign in but once I uninstalled it completely and reinstalled it, it worked fine.

The behavior of the chat is somewhat strange, though. Upon being told I've received a message, the application has to do a whole refresh once I open it before I can even see the message. Surely they could have made it so that it just pushed the message instead?
