Im not sure if any of you have the same problem..

I used to use Emtube.. and i love the program, until youtube did something and Icant use emtube at all..

then i switched to mobitubia.. and it worked fine. from time to time, it would exit the program itself..

what happens, is when i start up the program, i select youtube, and recently uploaded or most popular.. then i select a access point (my home wifi-network)..and i get a list of clips i am able to watch.. when i select them, mobitubia exits itself.. just like that..

its becoming more and more often.. is there a bug? i tried to uninstall, then reinstall mobitubia, but its the same.. HELP!!

btw, im from malaysia, using N95-1, firmware v21, malaysian-singaporean product code, plum colour.. recently 4GB micro-sd card (had this problem EVEN before i changed the sd card)..

I install all my apps in my phone memory, and only pictures, videos, mp3s and clips saved off youtube compliments from mobitubia in my memory card. sms, contacts are all saved in phone memory.

i am able to view all my previously saved video clips from youtube via emtube and mobitubia without problems..

HELP!!

EmTube v.1.0.9 Jan 15 2008 is working fine here...N95-1 fw 20.0.015 8GB Sandisk Ultra

Though I now find that I have the same problem as you with Mobitubia v1.80 build 2 !

Try using Build 4, which is the latest version of Mobitubia.

The sound is corrupted for a lot of videos too. It used to be fine.

I ran emTube before it stopped working. I haven't tried it since it started working again, as it uninstalled one of the n-gage components that it shared last time when I uninstalled it and I don't want to risk losing my game saves again (when I re-installed n-gage, they were gone :( ).

Edit: Okay, re-installed emTube and it seems to work fine (with no audio glitches). Now I just have to remember not to uninstall it :) (it's either the Symbian OS PIPS or Symbian OS Pipes component that is shared - or maybe both).

cant get my hands on build 4.. currently only open to donators..

EMTUBE IS BACK?! YES!! will install it asap!

I've got the same problem with it exiting whenever I try to open a video. I have build 4 :(

Maybe Youtube have made some changes once again, which usually results in these video browser apps failing.

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking happened. On the bright side I've installed emtube and everything works beautifully.

I've had this exact problem. Try checking the settings and look at the cache drive. I was finding that I was running out of memory on the phone to open some of the larger videos, so I changed the cache to use the memory card (D:) instead of the phone (C:). This worked for the larger clips, but on some of the smaller clips it wouldn't have it, and the program would just crash out without an error.

I changed the cache drive back to C: and everything is working again.

I also had problems similar to this when my push email client was also running. Some sort of weird conflict between the two apps both trying to access the same access point, and the loser would usually be mobitubia, which would just crash out like the problem above.
