Walkinghotspot connection issue

Was trying to conect to a asus internet computer but it wasnt seeing my walkinghotspot connection. Any ideas?

Is this an EeePC?

It may be that it can't use Ad-Hoc networks, I had the same problem trying to connect my laptop running Linux.

There may be a workaround, in some cases you can switch the wireless adapter into ad-hoc mode.

hmm, well thats lame if that is the case and it was the acer aspire thing.
