Is there any call manager software that can do this...?

When SpecialFriendA calls or sends an sms, the phone does not ring/vibrate, but for NormalFriendB the phone rings/vibrates as normal.

I use CallManager and the Baby List, but i dont want NormalFriendB to always ask "you got a text, who is it?" -- I don't want any notification when SpecialFriendA calls except maybe a flashing icon.

Hi!

Create a Contact group and add all your "NormalFriends" to the list. Do NOT add your "SpecialFriends".

Then for your currently active profile, set "Alert for" to the contact group you just created.

The negative side to this approach is that numbers that aren't in your phone, or withheld numbers, will not ring or notify you.
