Accurate battery indicator
Ive been trying to find one of these but am failing.
Ive found the nokia energy profiler, which shows battery power current level, but there must be a app that can use this information and permanently show me this in a percentage figure on the screen. Anyone know of one ??
Thanks
Will

You can have a look at PhoNetInfo. Just google it.
It doesnt display constantly but it gives a good reading.

Cclock can sow you your battery and signal as a percentage in the form of a screensaver

Yeaaaah but,
These battery reader thingys have a flaw, they just see the 7 bars and call it 100%, then at 6 bars its 86% so its not really an accurate percentage meter.
I tried this one on this thread and it said 100% even though its taken my phone another 45 mins to charge to full.
Il try it tommrow and report back...
I hope it gives a 99% 95% 91% etc reading rather than dividing 100 by 7 and only displaying the answer. If that is the case then the reader is pointless as i can see how many bars my phone has lol

I am looking for an app that can access same info as nokia energy profiler but show as an accurate percentage. Cclock, phonenetinfo, nsysinfo, nokia device status, all work off the built in bar display , which is useless

It would use more battery constantly testing it, than you'd appreciate.
There is no 100% acrurate way of getting the % of charge left. See my post on THIS THREAD.

Yeah but my k750, k800i and probably most SE phone have a%meter by pressing the volume button. All were asking for is an app that when you use it, you get an accurate charge level. I charged my phone this morning and the phone has 7 bars still. Acording to PhoNeInfo i have 100% of battery which is useless! I can see i have 7 bars. What i dont like is in an hour it could drop to 6 bars and an hour later 5 bars. It seems to be ok on V30 but its not good enough. For example, im about to go out and my phone shows 7 bars. Do i need to charge it? What if its really on 40% and in an hour or 2 drops to 2 bars?
Its a fantastic phone but i cannot belive a simple feature like my old k800i had this phone cant do!
Why bother having bars at all and just have a green/red light like my nintendo DS?

would love to get a decent app that shows the real percentage, in the meantime however i've settled for using Energy profiler and reading the Voltage it shows off
100% - 4,14V
75% - 4,01V
50% - 3,88V
25% - 3,75V
0% - 3,62V
note, the low battery warning comes on at 3,62V so it's not the actual 0%, it's just as low as I want my battery to get, the first few weeks I had a note with the info, but now I can remember it and just use energy profiler for an accurate reading of my battery level.

Thanks for the info, this may be a daft question but am i right in thinking that (approx) 85% would be 4.9V ? If so then thats ace.
