SwitchOff - Simple timer to turn your phone off!
SwitchOff
This Application allows you to turn off your phone at a set time. It is very simple and useful if you need this feature.
The application needs to be signed via SymbianSigned process, or installed if you have a hacked N95.

Why would you leave your phone on when you are asleep?
Somewhat understandable if you don't have a landline; however, people seem to see mobiles as being different in that it's ok to ring / text someone's mobile in the wee small hours while they would never ring the landline unless there was an emergency.

Mine's always on. Running all my startup apps again is a right pain! Plus, I'd never wake up if I switch off my 'alarm clock'!
Cheeky edit: What happens if you're in the middle of a phone call? ;)

Mine is switched off and gets put onto the charging dock just before I hit the sack every night. If I left it on I would have to make sure it was not in the bedroom. Unlike landline phones, mobiles not only get calls (unlikely in the middle of the night) but also texts and emails (much more likely). I have friends in different time zones that know not to call me at the wrong time but are happy to text and email at any time. I don't really want to hear the message alert in the middle of the night!

Exactly the same here Musk with friends, and family in different timezones. The amount of times I have been in the doghouse with the wife for not switching my phone off before bed, and then someone calls, or texts me, wakes us up, and oh boy lol.
