Sorry if this is something that's been posted already but I can't seem to see it - on my 95-1 I'm stuck on firmware v14 because I haven't debranded from T-Mobile, am I right in thinking iPlayer won't work for me until I either debrand or T-Mobile catch up with the firmware?

At least v21 is required to run the iPlayer I'm afraid. Are TMob really still only on v14? I can't tell as mine was sim free / unbranded.

I知 with Virgin, 2MB broadband, and use wifi through a WRT54G Router with no problems. I知 watching James Mays big ideas in landscape mode with no problems right now.

So you have the same 5 min timeout using the same router and on the same ISP. You didn't say if this only happnes in portrait though?

Obviously, it has to be down to the router. I would think something to do with overloading it with the rate of traffic - but I can't see anywhere to change that.

One think I cannot understand is WHY only in landscape. Surely the data amount is the same in eother portrait or landscape.

Madness!

Great, thanks for that!

This rules out Virgin then. Has to be a problem with the router. I guess it was 」25 for a reason!

Still doesn't answer the problem of landscape and portrait though. Also iPlayer works fine through the PC and surely that's streaming a hell of a lot more data.

I am completely at a loss with this!
