Sadly they seem to have stuck with v14 for some time now, no idea why but I wish they would leap on to a newer release - ideally one that fixes the issue where the camera doesn't always respond to you opening the lens cap properly.

I'm going to debrand the N95 as soon as I get my N85 but I don't want to risk it before then.

There's not a great deal to it to be honest and once you have done so you may not even want the N85 - the N95 will feel and perform like a new phone!

Note it will likely invalidate any warranty you may have though.

Obviously, it has to be down to the router. I would think something to do with overloading it with the rate of traffic - but I can't see anywhere to change that.

One think I cannot understand is WHY only in landscape. Surely the data amount is the same in eother portrait or landscape.

Madness!

tbh ive only tried it in landscape. i havent even bothered trying it in portrait for long enough as it just winds me up!

its clearly the router, but what the reason for the problem is, i aint got a clue.
i can use emtube on my phone perfectly, can use salling clicker without it cutting out, basically anything else that uses wifi on my fone works fine, except iplayer.

i think ill call it quits tbh, as id only use it in my room where i have a pc and biggish lcd neway

V14 on Tmobile is supposed to be the same as V21 unbranded.

Did you try the application?

I promise you - v14 is nothing like v21 - same as the original firmware with more T-Mobile branding - no widget, Flash or N-Gage support...

Updated a few days ago - couldn't bear v14 any longer.

Know what you mean Samisnake. I have fired off an email to Netgear in desparation more than anything. So far they have suggested altering the MTU size, which has done nothing!

I await their next idea. I don't hold out a lot of hope but I will let you know if I find a solution!

That may be what the networks would like to have you believe! :)
