Windows live messenger how on earth do you get it working!?
Hope this is in the right place but im new to nseries, i just got my N95 8GB yesterday so still getting to grips with it, but so far loving it, much better than my C902.
So yeah, im on three network and when i go to the "launcher" ive got live messenger in the list but when i click it, it just takes me to threes homepage instead? i cant see live messenger in apps either, only on the launcher thing.
Wifi works fine, but im only in a 2G area where i live, although that doesnt make a difference because i had live messenger working on my C902 on 2G.
Any ideas guys? |

Welcome to the forums.! Maybe your would be best to install the Messenger standalone application.
Check in your Applications manager to see if Messenger is installed.

Live messenger isnt in app manager, is that the reason its not working when i click it in launcher, because live messenger isnt even installed?
Where do i get the standalone one if thats the case?

Thats not windows live is it, msn 2.0 it says? i know that would at least get me on there but its all about windows live now isnt it?

I highly recommend Fring for txt chat over YM/MSN/Skype/GTalk/ICQ/AIM. Works great.

on your phone hit the menu button and select Download!
In the Download! folder, select Applications.
In the applications folder select Messenger.

Thanks alot guys for the help, i downloaded fring the other day and it works great, you can be on about 5-6 different im's at the same time if you wanted its great
