I don't think you can overwrite the MAC address, every WiFi adapter has it's own, so unless you change that piece of hardware you're stuck with the same MAC address.

yeah the only way is to change the adapter.
why would you want to change it?

Mac addresses are just a software setting. Every network adapter I've seen, be it wifi or ethernet, has had the ability to change it's Mac. In Windows, one can typically do it from the network adapter's device properties. In one's router, it is usually just a setting that says "Spoof MAC Address." Don't see why the same can't be done with this too. There must be a way...

a mac address is hardcoded into the hardware. mac spoofing is software based. it hides your real mac address and tricks others into seeing the spoofed mac address. your original mac is unchanged when you do this

Why would you want to chamnge the MAC code? Whats the benifits??
