Sounds like a good little game. Its Java, but Ewan is full of praise for it.

Looks rather cool, but no demo sadly.

Gonna keep my eyes open for that one, i loved the original GTA on my Sega all them years ago.

Java aint too bad, take Tankzors for example. Great JAVA game that.
