Data monitor/packet analyzer

My bill has revealed that my phone seems to use the data connection all byitself when it is just running rotateme and on active standby. It isn't much but I was wondering what it is and why.

Is there a free app that can monitor the data coming in or out?

Cheers..

You don't really need a third party one.

MENU > TOOLS > LOG > PACKET DATA

how is this even possible, that the phone uses data connection while running an app that's totally unrelated to the internet or connections??

Is this directed at my response? If so, I don't understand the question

No. Think it was at the original poster. In a round about way, he's saying that it can't be related to an application running.

Which strictly isn't true, as some applications can use the network. However I don't believe RotateMe is the culprit in this example.
