Question SymTorrent Help please

Hello!

I installed the latest Symtorrent on my N95. However, when I go to any torrent sites, and click on download torrent, all I see is "Not Supported" error
displayed on the screen.

I tried to run symtorrent at the sametime as my browser to see if it would pick up the .torrent files, but it doesn't.

Any idea how to get it working?

Thanks!

It is intensely annoying isn't it. You can't even "view source" from the browser to get the torrent name.

If I email a torrent I find on my PC to my phone I can save the attachment but then I can't find it on the phone to allow SymTorrent to load it, it just saves it into the Notes application.

Anyone got this to work on an N95?

The only way I have got it to work is by copying the torrent files over usb, by memory card from the PC or using SymSMB 2.0.

I have got the full speed of my connection using Symtorrent, and am happy to recommend it .

Anyone who can figure out how to dl unsupported files or associate torrent files with Symtorrent, pls post here :)

Inqui

So would downloading, on the fly, say a new album, then unzipping (f required) adding files to music player, and playing them be a reality? or are there just to many problems?

Its a reality, only problem is you need to transfer the torrents from your PC initially

You will get a mesage about Opera cant find app to open file, just hit yes and save file,

Exit Opera
Open Symtorrent and add file that you just saved.

Yep, just use Opera Mobile or Mini to download the .torrent, then save it and open with Symtorrent. Works great.
You could use the Coreplayer trick and then Ytasks to associate .torrent with Symtorrent. To make this work with email attached torrents you have to give Symtorrent Allfiles capabilities with MoreCaps, requiring hacked phone and pretty complicated.

Bush and Cheney are in the oval office. The phone rings. It is one of the generals in Iraq. He tells Bush: "Two Brazilian Soldiers died here today". Bush's face takes a grim look and he replies "OK, thanks". Then he starts to cry. Cheney is really puzzled and he asks Bush: "Why do you cry over two Brazilian soldiers?"
Bush looks up to him, still crying and asks: "Dick, do you know how many thousand two Brazilian are? I forgot to ask the general."
