Does anybody know if it connects to FTP servers to download and upload files? I am using MobyExplorer right now but due to permission issues if i want to download 20files, i have to give permission for each file download which sucks!!
Please tell me if this can be used with FTP sites (multi file upload/download).
Thanks

It does NOT connects to FTP servers, it uses other protocol.
But it does file(s) or folder(s) upload and download between phone and computer.
(More details sent in PM for you)

I have a question. The N95 is my first symbian phone (and i really love it). Does the backup tool from Nokia pc suite also backs up my licensed app?. I am getting a 4Gig card soon and planning to move all my apps in it. Telexy, since i obtained the license from the phone (through your website), will I be able to move my licensed copy into my new mem cards and use it with no hiccups (or maybe download the license file again from your site)? I am asking this because i couldn't locate the license file.
Thanks.

As you've purchased a licence from Telexy, your phone is now registered with them, you'll find that even after you've hard-reset it, you can still re-register the program with Telexy, OTA (Over The Air) from within the SymSMB program itself, so there's no problem when you come to re-install it, I've done this several times so far.
N.B. Take note of DaveW, generally-speaking I found that backing-up and re-installing programs was a hit-and-miss affair, it seems to be much better to re-install them.

Sweet. Still testing on the trial. I had it working at work on my Laptop, then at home with a bit of re-config, but then it didn't wotk back on the laptop.
I think it's the domain setting. I don't run domains.
Still, quite a few people are raving about it, so it's probably user error. I'll get it sorted ;)

If you don't run domain, then you should use the Full Computer Name instead for this situation, this clearly stated in documentation here: SymSMB 2.00 How To use
at paragraph 4.3.4.1.1
You know, this application is not easiest to configure without some network experience and/or documentation, so please, please, read the documentation. Don't hesitate to contact us directly (support@telexy.com) or via our troubleshooting forum at telexy.com. We are answering all requests and it doesn't matter if you have already purchased the software or are still trialling it, we will answer all questions about it.
... We hope that it will be more easier in 3rd version as there will be ability to browse from phone the Network Neighborhood with all available computers and shares as well.
P.S. It looks like we already get rid of the Domain Parameter in 3rd version in order to reduce
unnecessary confusion.

Any idea as to when we can expect version 3, and will it be free or a discounted price to those who recently purchased the software?
