The Kaywa Reader

The Kaywa Reader is a 2D Barcode Reader to install on your mobile phone. Once installed, you can scan 2D Barcodes and the content of the 2D Barcode is then immediately resolved on the phone.

2D Barcodes (QR Code, Datamatrix) can hold several types of information:

an URL, respectively a mobile site's address
a SMS message
a phone number
any kind of text
an email address
The URL is certainly the most interesting type of information which can be encoded. After scanning the 2D Barcode, you get a connection to the mobile site.

Nokia Sensor

Nokia Sensor is a spontaneous, sociable application for spontaneous, sociable people. With Nokia Sensor you can create your own personal pages - called a folio - on your phone. Then you can check out the folios of other Sensor users nearby, exchange messages, and share files.

Connect on the spot

Nokia Sensor uses Bluetooth wireless technology, which means that it works within a 'circle' of up to 10 meters around your phone. When other Sensor phones come within this circle, your phone can 'sense' them and you can see their folios and send them messages. As soon as you step out of each other's circles, you are no longer able to communicate via Sensor.

Connect for free

Because phones running the Sensor application communicate directly without going through an operator network service, communication is free of charge. However, if you send SMS or MMS messages to other Nokia Sensor users, regular operator fees apply.

Nokia Team Suite

Nokia Team Suite is one of the application that have been made available for e-series Nokia phone via catalogs. Its main purpose is to facilitates group communications. You can setup groups, similar to the Caller Groups in the regular contacts app, but from there you also have a plethora of options, available in a customisable side bar. Once you setup your group (and you can have as many as you wish), from the Nokia Team Suite you can do the following:
Call all the members in a conference call (depending on how many your service provider supports)
Create a message (sms, mms, or email)
View their webpages
Initiate a PTT session
Call a conference calling service. With this one also, you can preset the service's number and PIN and all that, making it easy if you frequent sit in on a conference call with the same people.
