Thanks very much for writing this proggie.

There is one problem with it though.
I'm getting this error in the cmd-box when dragging a file on to the drop area :
Quote:
error:06065064:digital envelope routines:EVP_DecryptFinal:bad decrypt
And I think that I know what is causing the error.
I have a %-sign in my password. For whatever reason it is dropped/skipped when applying it to the *.key file.
I can see the password after the path to the *.key file, right above the error line.
It's missing the %-sign.

Could you please check ?

Robert

EDIT : When necessary I can email you a screenshot of the cmd-window with the error etc. showing.

I've never heard of that error before ! However, please email me a screenshot to javawag AT gmail DOT com and tomorrow I'll take a look... hopefully this doesn't affect your enjoyment of QuickSignSIS!

Well you asked for it, so you've got it.

And don't worry, I 'm already enjoying the proggie.
I just created new *.csr and *.key files without the %-sign in the same password, and then created a new *.cer certificate. With this new one, QuickSignSIS signed RotateMe without any problems.

I've found the problem! The problem was that Command Prompt treats "%", "<", ">" and some other characters differently to normal symbols as they're used for "special" purposes... however QuickSignSIS now employs a workaround so that it works even if you have a "%" in your password. If anyone has a password with a "<", ">", or something else causing trouble, I'll add support for those too . The new version is available at the same link as before so feel free to go grab it!!

Just confirming that the password is not a problem anymore.
It's just click and drag now to sign ANY unsigned *.sis file.
Very impressive.

Thanks,
Robert

Hi, when I go to Request Dev Cert on the SymbianSigned page I get this...

Your request has failed. Reason:
-Developer Certificates will be ENABLED for users who have a Publisher ID ONLY
-ONLY if you used a Publisher ID to create a .csr file with the DevCertCreate tool will you be able to use Open Signed Offline to create a Developer Certificate.
-Developer Certificates are currently DISABLED for users without a Publisher ID. Users who DO NOT have a Publisher ID CANNOT request Developer Certificates or use Open Signed Offline.
-If you have recently obtained a Publisher ID and are unable to create a Developer Certificate using Open Signed Offline please request support through the Symbian Signed forum on the Symbian Developer Network

Anybody any ideas what's up?
