Google earth support

I just bought my n95 2 days ago. Im really curious about the GPS function in this phone but unfortunately im in sri lanka where nokia dont have any maps for my country. I have two questions,

1. if I have a map of my hometown in a bitmap format is it possible to use it in my n95 ?

2. Is it possible to export maps from google earth to n95 somehow ? so i could use it offline

Your support is much appreciated

Neither of those will allow you to use nokia maps for your needs. However, if you want to view a bitmap map, why not just transfer it and view it as you would an image?

As for google earth, what I can tell you is that the free google maps application will allow you to view maps within that application. It uses data to download these on the fly.

Mini ice cubes, this question appears to be related to GPS...think you ought to raise your question under the GPS sub-forum. Anyway, there may be 2 softwares u could probably use:

Google Maps
Mobile GMaps - View maps from various sources on your mobile phone!

Can you use these maps with your GPS? Then again, it may depend on your location...
