Turning of Video Recording Indicator Off

There is a red light indicator in flash when video is recording, How to turn it off ? i can't seem to find out. Is there any other video rec apps in n95 ????
would be so greatfull for any help.

Use the search, there is a method, well documented, on this forum.

It involves a small amount of cutting though.

did u mean to cut the wire for indicators ? ?

yes, that is what he meant. oppening the back cover and cutting a wire. crazy stuff!

The only known way to remove the red video 'privacy light' is here. This light is expressly designed so that software cannot cancel it, this being a legal requirement in certain markets in the world.

The hardware 'fix' is very effective and has been done by several members, myself included, it has no effect on any feature apart from extinguishing the red light, both for video and picture-taking, the flash and focussing lights work as normal.
