Gmail.app Launches Slow

I have the gmail.app installed on my phone's internal memory. When I try to launch it, it takes a few sec's before it appears on the screen. Comparatively other apps launch much quicker. Is it the app or something with my phone?

it's a java application, so the phone has to load the java virtual machine first then the app, which is slower than just loading a native symbian app.

so calm down it's normal ;)
