Installing a font to your mass storage WILL render it unusable (Via data transfer mode). With the
N95-1 you can simply remove the memory card and restart the phone to stop the resource folder being used, but obviously you cannot do this on the
N95 8GB. The
N95 8GB would end up totally unusable if you were to install the fonts on there normally
This is where FontRouter comes in handy. By using it, all you need to do is uninstall the FontRouter application (From the Application manager) every time you want to change the font/access your mass memory in data transfer mode. By uninstalling FontRouter, you free the access to your mass storage again to be used any way you like. It is a little long winded, but it will NOT stop the use of the mass memory, and of course you can use a nice new font
Use FontRouter on the
N95 8GB and you will be fine. There is no worries at all :)
