you can still change your font but font magnifier will only magnify the default fonts depending on what version of it you have

Hello, new member here! I've just installed FontRouter on my N95 8GB today, purely for the anti-aliasing, which it does a wonderful job of. However, I noticed something slightly "off" about the fonts after I installed it which I couldn't put my finger on at first... After a while I realised that the UI used to use two distinctly different fonts - The narrow Nokia font (Nokia Hindi?) for the menus and majority of the text, and a wider, rounder font (Series 60 ZDigi?) for notifications and some pop-up menus. Since I installed FontRouter, it's all using the narrow font, and I don't really like how it looks. Is there something I can change in the INI file to tell it to use both fonts?
Edit: The second font is clearly not S60 ZDigi, because that doesn't even have a full alphabet or any numbers... It isn't any of the fonts in Z:\resource\Fonts
Edit edit: I fixed it.

If you want to use all the original fonts, but have them antialiased, there's two steps to take:
1) Delete/Comment out all the lines in the [Font Map] section.
2) Add the line: *=
Now it uses all the right fonts! I am so happy!

HI all!
This is my first post.. :-)
I tried to install the FontRouter.LT.for.v9.Build20071109.opensigned to my N95 8GB (australian version) and I am getting a certificate error.. :-(
I have the newest firmware, 2.0 i believe.. is that the issue?

Hello guys
Could someone please explain to me what fontrouter does? I don't get it :\
I know that there are settings in the .ini file but I don't understand who is reading that file to decide what fonts should be applied?
I am asking this because I am making an app for changing fonts. I am able to make it work by using fontrouter (think of it as a gui application for fontrouter) but I would like to understand the logic behind fontrouter so that I can make my app as standalone as possible (without the need of fontrouter).
I would appreciate all help I can get
Thank you!

4. then i put the font back (now called 'COMICS') to the original 'Fonts' folder so it's not lost.
5. i then now make four copies of 'COMICS' in the font folder and rename them to nohindisnr60.ttf, nohindissb60.ttf, nohinditsb60.ttf and S60ZDIGI.ttf.
6. then i go to the phone's mass memory e:/resources/ and make a folder 'fonts' and put those four files in there....
is this right?

Hi Dayene
I'm not clear why would the phone start using your fonts from your created folder on mem card, e:/resources/fonts instead of default dir z:/resources/fonts? - not just because you created them on mem card.
I tried this and it didn't work.
Also, I noticed some folks are able to use data transfer mode and 'see' other directories and sub-dirs - I can only see 'data' folder in this mode, nothing else, no c,d,e,z folders or anything like that. I use vista and my phone is N95-1
I was thinking of copy/paste using y-browser but despite its claims - it can not do copy/paste.
What gives?

You wont find it as it does't have an icon.

ok, again please dont get angry...
i tried to read and understand, but after the 3rd page i just got totally confused.
which is the most simple and effective way to install fonts to my phone ( n95-2) i want to use 2 different versions (std and bold).
if this is too confusing i'll settle for the one font.
thanks for all your help guys its appreciated.
