Just be specific on where are you at right now.
Did you start with Server Type of connection first, as recommended?
What do you have in configuration in SymSMB, what seems to be the problem and so on?
There is no miracle here, right configuration will make it work.
If you were unable to get Server Connection (from computer to phone) working, then don't hesitate to open your very own thread in Server Connection troubleshooting forum here:

Otherwise instead of fast help I will ask you in one Email one of few questions,
