Thanks Calamity, that corbel italic looks awesome now. I tweaked fontrouter to zoom it by about 10% and it looks awesome.

Come to think of it all the previous fonts I tried that looked pants look much better slightly zoomed by fontrouter.

Bear with me as I found this somewhere else and committed it to memory. I have no record of the original site.

First of all I am using the fontrouter trick whereby you can still use mass storage, it is here on this site somewhere. I use Xplore to edit the fontrouter.ini file as the article states.

To zoom the font you need to find the following text:-

; Global zoom ratio (by
percentage) and range of font
size to apply zooming to.
ZoomRatio=100
ZoomMinSize=0
ZoomMaxSize=48

I set MaxSize to 50, obviously the absolute upper limit. To actually zoom the font you need to change the ZoomRatio, I set mine to 110.

Next you need to scroll down a little further and find the following:-

; Z<n> Zoom ratio
by percentage (Default: 100)

I changed the default to 110 aswell. I am unsure whether this has to be the same value as ZoomRatio, but the example I saw was and this what I stuck with.

Hope this helps.

Will do later my friend. TBH it looks just a little clearer. I found that some of the fonts looked a little, erm, rough when left at default sizes. Making them slightly larger just makes them a little more legible for me.

Will try and do the screen caps later, anyone suggest a simple image hosting site I can use? My personal webspace is being smeggy and won't let me loin fo some reason.

Before

After

I also switched on Active Standby, although I do not use it, to show how it looks. Not sure how much better it looks to you guys, but my eyesight is not perfect and this looks great for me.

Also, the after shots are after I have changed zoom to 115, seems to be the best for my dodgy eyes LOL
