I'm finally able to change my fonts, but to a limited degree. When I follow the idea I can't 'see' anything on my mem card except what's on root (c) drive - there are no b,d,e drivers, just directories created by the phone when you put the card in. So I just created folder resource/fonts in my root dir on mem card. I shove the card in, restart - and voila - the new fonts (i renamed them to what's visible in z:/resource/fonts - something nohindiXXX.ttf) - new fonts are in.
It all works fine on the main screen - with clock, wlan scanning off, date and Tmobile logo is all affected by new fonts, but when I go to menu - the fonts are just the same as they were, no change there, much smaller (that's my big point, and they are set to normal).
Do I have to copy and paste the newly renamed fonts to z/resource/fonts? Y-browser can't do that, despite claims, it can only 'show' pasted files.

That method now is a bit old hat now.

I would recommend Fontrouter LT now, which can be installed on the phone memory, so you can then use mass storage as on prevoius versions Fontrouter had to be stored on the card, also using this you don't have to re-name the fonts.

Change your fonts & still use Data Transfer mode!!

Mr.G thanks for the useful post - looks like it's quite complicated to get an app signed, though. By the way, how did you guys manage to post such neat and clear pix of your menus ?

take a look at just generic fonts - in menu they are smaller than ever, that happened after hard reset. They have never been that small. I tried different fonts with 'easy' method just copy and paste to /resource/fonts dir, and no matter which font I take - they are just so small. Don't know what to make of it...

Mr.G, how do you make screenshots appear 2 or 3 side-by-side - I uploaded mine and they show only as thumbnails. Aren't we limited to 19kb per jpg?
