Ok, I tried to install a custom font, and it looks great on my N95 8GB!!!
But now everytime I open Opera Mini, and want to browse to a webpage, Opera comes with a popup message that says:
"Please wait while Opera Mini gathers information about your fonts. This might take a few minutes."
And it really takes a few minutes before I can continue browsing.
This happens everytime I close Opera and start it again... Very annoying when u just want to read some rss feeds or check your email quickly...

That's odd!
I never have any trouble loading fonts with teashark, which is basically the same as opera.
are you using the latest version, ie beta?

Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for the tips to get custom fonts working on the N95. I've always hated the default Nokia font, and now I have everything in Calibri (new Vista fonts FTW), and it looks gorgeous, especially with the anti-aliasing on the high quality screen. Really pleased with this softmod, so thanks to Gizmoratty for the tutorial and Mr G for all the tips!
Anybody know of any way to get Opentype fonts working on the N95? Or is it just limited to Truetype at the moment?

hi, i was wondering if while changing fonts, would be possible to change the size as well? compared to my gf's n73, the n95's font on the active standby is larger and fits less calender info. thanks
