cannot sign fexplorer

ok, downloaded fexplorer and it would not intall. Little bit of looking around and it seems it needs signing.

Opened an account on symbiansigned.com and downloaded the request software. Did as instructed in one of the guides on here and when trying to sign fexplorer_english_117.sis am informed it is not an sis file and the signing fails.

Tried another guide with the same result.

Tried Barak's Signme! Beta and it also fails claiming it cannot find the unsigned version.

Anybody got any idea's? I am all out. I have a .cer and a .key which I know the passord for and is for my IMEI but I cannot seem to get them to work with fexplorer.

I have used the .cer and .key with another .sis file (randomly selected theme file) and it signed it fine.

Just tried that actually and it signed fine and installed, although seems a bit useless at the moment as it won't access anything due to 'security reasons'

Still fiddling :)

Yea unfortunately, it will always be like that for the phone memory - The one downside to this OS in my opinion

You can use 'Data transfer/Mass storage' mode modes (Or a card reader) for full access to the memory card though
