Have a read under the sub-forum called 'GPS'.
Alternatives have been explained and discussed in detail already. Some work with the internal
N95 GPS receiver, others such as TomTom at this point require an external bluetooth GPS.
The 'quality' of any GPS software largely (but not wholly) depends on the quality of maps for your given area that are supplied with said software.
