Mobigenie...
...doesnt seem to work.
Havent tried the answering thing yet, but the thing I was most interested in was the location function.
This was the download place I got it from, as the original link in the best apps thread on here has died. Mobie Genie v1.00 - MAHESH N-SERIES APPLICATIONS - by mahesh
What exactly is the location function supposed to do? Everytime someone rings, it just says 'Local', even though my mum rang from Wales!

actually I was wondering the same thing and got it because I was very interested in the location function as well. It is nice as an answering machine though.

I was thinking it maybe took the cell data/area code from the caller and maybe compared it to a database and got a location from there.
Sadly, this doesnt seem to be the case, or perhaps it only works in the US or other country?
Might keep the program, not fussed about the answering option but the blacklist might come in handy.
An app that does do the location thing would be nice though, if anyone knows of one.

well I am in the US and I get the same 'local' message, of course the only time I tried it the person was standing next to me so I'm not sure.
