Biz Reader

For anyone with a lot if business cards. You photograph the business card,It takes the name, address, phone, cell phone, and email address and moves them to contacts. The drawback is it is not free.

But it is very useful mate !!
Really Nice App..
I think Nokia should integrate Biz card reader in it's next version of firmware.

John, any chance you'd want to give a quick write up on how it works and your opinions on it?

I have only been using it for a short time, and I don't have 100 bus. cards but the tests that I did I was Happy with. It sure solves the problem of what to do with all tour cards. The only thing I wish it would do is take an actual photo of the card, instead of only extracting the relevant information. IE. If you have a card from a tire store with pictures of tires on it, as well as the phone #s etc. You only get the card owner's name, address, phone, no photo on it with tires.

Why not use Comombo or ScanR for that? Both are freeware.

I think the reason for using biz reader is it has a built in "step" to copy the info it receives from the card directly into the contacts in your phone. Does ScanR do that? If so then yes, no reason to buy biz reader

Yeah I went back and look at BizReader specs. and no ScanR and Comombo don't do what it does. Neat program for those who need it I guess.
