Sygic havent got back to me, so I used one I found lying around. And before anyone has a go, I reiterate I definatly would pay for a valid copy if its any good.
Unfortunatly, its crap.
First off, no postcode search, only first 3 letters/numbers.
Worse, is the navigation. Dont know about routes yet as I just did a short trip to the shops, but the instructions blow to be honest.
Basically, it does the usual of informing you of a turn twice, once at 300 yards, and again when your almost on it.
Except the first time, it doesnt say 'in 300 yards..' it just says 'turn left/right'.
This happened everytime, so its not as if it was a one off. And if I had listened to it, and not known the route or looked at the screen, Id have turned down a few roads I shouldnt have.
And while on a straight road with no turnings I got the 'turn slightly right' instruction, never a good sign.
If they send me a copy to try, I will hoping for improvements. But for the first time, I have to say I will not be buying this one to try it. And it will be deleted from my phone. Normally I would try it on a longer journey, but with those instructions and no full postcode support, its already usless.
Yet again, the hopes are stacked on an uncaring tomtom.
*sigh*
