Strange how we've been wanting this software for ages and now that there's a widely-available free program that handles YouTube files superbly, an official YouTube version suddenly becomes available...
No option to 'Save' your downloads? ... PAH! ...They can keep it... emTube gets MY vote!

Thanks for the heads-up Giz.
For me though, emTube works fantasticly well and with save locally option is great for entertaining the kids in the car.

Installing and everything (navigating through the application and such) works perfectly, but whenever I go to watch a video I always get a "connection Lost. Please restart the video" message. I'm sure my connection is fine. Did anyone else have this problem?
And does emtube give you access to the full library of youtube videos?

Honestly, thats a feature which I really don't care for. Youtube (even the full desktop version) is so crappy, most youtube videos arn't really worth saving anyways.
And I'm glad I'm not the only one getting this error, they should be able to sort it out quickly then. I'll try uploading videos and see if that works. |
