Hi Guys & Girls...

Im having a problem with GenialSIS.. When I use it to sign in and upload the .csr file it says the usual about pointing to the file in the profile folder bla bla, so I press ok then it come up with a message saying

"An error occured while opening the selection window. This may be caused by a failure to install the .NET framework 3.5 as indicated in the instructions. Please install .NET framework 3.5 and try again."

Now I know what your gonna say. Install .NET framework 3.5.... I have already and it still comes up with the message..

I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and how they sorted it out...

I really need to get this up and running, I have 4 people waiting for programs to be signed..

Hi there just wondering if you`ve sorted out your problem with Net framework 3.5 as i have the same problem now!! Gutted as ive got a load off cool apps i need to sign but cant now!!! please help

have you tried the new online signing with symbian signed?

The online signing is limited to time of day. It's not 24/7... it's not convenient enough to be relied on yet :(

I have the same problem; maybe a bug within the latest release but if anyone know what is causing it plz respond.

PS; maybe your os is Windows XP; mine is vista but the error remains the same. Could one of you all try a previous Genialsys version?? (i used 1.1)

probably already tried it, but uninstall it net 3.5, download a fresh one and try it again. thats wut i did and it worked. also have 2.5 installed.

Well I still havn't sorted the problem, although I did find I was use GenialSIS 0.9... With v1.1 it still comes up with the error message... I tried downgrading to .NET framework 3.0 and doing clean installs of 3.5... But nothing has sorted this problem.. Im really stuck now. :(

I had problems with the new version of genialsis yesterday it wouldnt accept the password for the key file even though it was correct i ended up going getting the binpda signer works a treat now. I will post it up later when i get home if anyone requires it?

I didnt get a error though even though i didnt have net framework 3.5 the older version 0.7 refused to work aswell :(
