has anyone used the flash tuner by the way?

in standard tuning my bottom e and A are giving out the exact same sound...

and yes im sure, i know im the one after a tuner to help me learn to tune by ear, but this is defintiely giving the same note

Yeah lol thats just the horrible flash app. The author didn't put in the correct sound for the low E.

Just tune the other five strings to the sound on the app but the low E you need to tune by ear. To do this, fret the 5th string on the low E and it should sound the same as the the open A.

Problem solved.

good, i was hoping my hearing hadnt died already...

as for the 5th fret method that how i do it anyway (or attempt so far) but its making sure i am getting the right notes to start from....

slightly off topic, but i found an app that basically is a guitar tab archive, hope some of you find it useful

Chords for S60 Smartphones

edit : Not for advanced guitar players, or you'll end up bored with it after a week ( speaking from experience )
