I just got my N95-4 8GB USA Edition about a month ago and I too had the very same question as Nanakopl. I'm on T-Mobile's network right now. This week I downloaded eBuddy and it works great with my T-Mobile Web/T-Zone ($5.99 version) internet service, but I would love to have the functionality of using AIM without the internet like on my older phone (Motorola RIZR) where it just takes away from my text messages.

I know I'll probably get "what's the point of using AIM without Internet when you already got it", but I find it handy to use without having to be logged online all the time, and having my battery drained...which it only lasts a full day anyways.

Thanks for any positive feedback!

Sadly no, I've just been using eBuddy now since no solutions have been presented yet. I'll post again if I find out anything.
