Hi, my first posting, great site!
On the subject of Voip, I have been using Truphone on my
N95 for a couple of months now. Just to clear a couple of things up I have been reading in the threads, there are no charges using Voip to Voip, in other words, Truphone to Truphone, Skype to Skype. The charges come in when you call landlines or mobile that are not on the same service. There are no connection charges if you are connecting via your wireless setup, the same as there are no charges using your home pc and making voip-to-voip calls. If you are away from home and connecting via Cloud or whoever, there are their charges.
You can buy phone credit as you would a pay as you go mobile top up to use when phoning non-voip phones.
You do have a setting on the
N95 that selects whether 'voice calls' (normal mobile) or internet calls are your default. I selected voice calls.
And while Truphone is highly rated, I don't know about Skype for the
N95. Fring is rated pretty poor by
Computer Shopper, 2 out of 5 stars. I have no experience using it.
Hope this helps!
